ND already in playoffs + Alabama already in

Open question - if ND has already beat Clemson in the regular season, do they also need to win the ACC championship game to be in? If so, why does Notre Dame need to win twice but we only have to win once?
Next question - if it's close, do fans want to see the same two teams play 3x in one year?
If Alabama loses to FL - that would give both of them identical records. With AL having beaten #5 Texas a&m, which beat FL head to head. I assume you don't keep Alabama out for that loss either.

IMO, if we beat ND, I don't think ND is in the playoffs bc, that would prove that ND barely got by an injury laden Clemson team, but gets beat by a healthier Clemson team!!!!
