No. People who work for a living (Republicans) with the exception of govt employees will be expected to somehow work all day and somehow manage to find ten minutes to vote. Everybody else will be allowed to sit around all day doing nothing so they can squeeze that whole voting thing into their busy schedules. You know, kind of like the last six months. Republicans are going to work and everybody else is sitting home crying about how evil Republicans are for cavalierly leaving their homes, even though its those folks working who allow the chosen few to sit at home in total comfort having everything handed to them on a silver platter. Typical leftist mindset.

There is a large contingent of people, myself among them, that believes election day should be a federal holiday. Anything that makes voting easier for the largest number of people possible.

Federal holidays also hurt people who need their children to be at school for multiple reasons. Having kids safely at school enhances the ability to vote not the opposite.

That isn't always possible. You can get a sitter etc to watch kids on holiday. With it being holiday, plenty of options. It would be amazing to not wait 2 hours to vote. Holiday, voting week, or all mail in etc. Plenty of better options if we really wanted to increase turn out.

Need to take care of everyone. We can't make decisions for ourselves. Society needs to make these decisions for us. It is gonna be awful hard for all these organizations ( including the government) to let people start making decisions for themselves again.
