My take on the CFP....

Stop Alabama's run game, we win. Get into the backfield often and pressure Baker, we win. Stop Georgia's run game we in... simple. Lets go boys!! Go Tigers!

Not sure why so many team's have allowed themselves to remain so unbalanced in today's CFB landscaped .
So few , even of the top tier programs are offensively balanced enough to cause DC's significant problems in preparation when facing them .
3 of this year's finalists are offensively challenged , but one is not . Without getting into specifics or singling anyone out ..the team with the best defense and the balanced offense will win it this year ( how I see it ) .

Typically, the so-called 'experts' evaluate the same as you do, but ONLY if the program name fits the agenda. So...apparently, Clemson is, once again, not a fit. That's ok...love watching their crocodile tears flow!

IMO the OPs vision is a little simplistic. Here are my three keys for any of the games:

Win the turnover battle. This is a must.
Limit chunk plays as we cannot afford to make it easy on any of the three teams.
Must come out sharp. With a month’s layoff we must bring the same fire, precision and efficiency we had at the end of the season. Can’t come out sluggish.
