He has done well. Michigan State as a team was overrated this year. Izzo isn't overrated.

For someone who has gotten to 21 straight tournaments, just curious their success versus other tournament favorites over the years (Duke, UNC, etc.)

Just seems like they are somebody's favorite EVERY year. And most years it seems they fail to advance past sweet 16.

Are they that talented every year? Or are the pundits over rating them? Or maybe some of both?

Just curious. I genuinely don't know how Izzo's tournament success stacks up to some of the other "favorites" throughout the years.

I thought Sparty''s big men list this game today. Sure, the 2-3 zone that Cuse runs is tough, but every D1 player should be able to hit a jumper from just inside the foul line. Their bigs missed a lot from the block too. They were leaning on 3-point attempts too much.

This is the kind of match up that could give the Tigers trouble. Hopefully we beat the War Eagles tonight. Sweet 16 would be a great season for us.
