Actually, it makes no sense to me. Every site I see shows the public has been putting more money on Clemson, yet the line moved UP. Should have moved the other way.

Still, if it were so easy to bet with the line move or to bet against the public, I would be rich. I wouldn't put too much into it.

In the modern day of computer controlled betting, the line is not going to swing uncontrollably unless a single better walks in and drops a multi million dollar bet in a single transaction. I have had the line move on me while the person was keying in my bet.

Vegas never wins nor loses big on sports lines. In the olden days, the books on occasion would act on "inside information" and throw the book out of balance to capitalize on a game in which "the fix was on." Today, they all keep strictly balanced books.

if Clemson wins the bookies lose. It's close and they still get the juice, but definitely the bookies want FSU to win right now.
