Kinda Funny How The Garbage Teams and Conferences

Aug 14, 2020, 2:13 PM

Bail on the season much more quickly than the those that are having success. Other than Ohio State and maybe 2-3 other total teams, not a single true contender of the last 5 years has thrown in the towel.

Your statement is not exactly 100% true......

South Carolina is a garbage program and they want to play. You were mostly correct but those darn coots just got to ruin every list.

Yet The Citadel found a way to keep their game with us.

Gamecocks did not.

Just shows why they aren’t ever any good.

One word - SOFT

actually what it shows is those schools and conferences

Aug 14, 2020, 6:43 PM

that are most likely to give up football in the future as the sport consolidates to first a "Top Tier" Power 5 and then only those schools consistently with an opportunity to make playoff type runs.

Schools lie Duke and Wake Forest will go the way of the smaller conferences at some point because the investment is simply too bit for them with little hope for the payoff of CFP-type glory, or the ACC will have to relinquish its requirement that all members play Football.
