Pre ACC the Hurricanes were a football powerhouse. Georgia Tech has been a super program in the past. Also VPI and Pitt and Syracuse have been respectful programs in the past. Why, all of a sudden, they become a part of the ACC and they become nobody’s! Since they play each other, somebody has to lose. Clemson does not have to apologize to anyone for their schedule. What we need is for the conference to schedule well and do well out of conference. Name me one team in the top twenty that would be a heavy favorite to beat the Tigers. I can’t think of one.
Just like last year, the Tigers will excel.
