Companies (and individuals) are tightening up and sitting on cash due to the uncertainty of the next 6-18 months. I'm sure the sponsors are pulling money if they aren't even sure if there will be anyone in the stands to appreciate their generosity.

I’m working on building a new box today. It has a 185 cm screen with a space station bathroom built in out of a super sonic shop vac.
