If you're going through a divorce you need more than free advice. Retain a lawyer.

If you are a married male living in SC, a lawyer will do you very little good. You are getting ready to lose half of what you have and a good piece of everything that you will ever have. If you have a retirement fund, bank account, house, cars, boat or motorcycle, give her half of that too. You are in for a screwing like you have never had. The best advice I have is learn to live happily on what she left you and start looking for a woman that took 1/2 of her ex-husband's stuff. It is like getting your old stuff back. Hell, you might even upgrade.

you will be facing, but your ex's atty. Yours as well. I have a relative that said "Oh, he wouldn't do that..." and she was right- he didn't. But his Atty did. Don't assume chit
