Sapphire valley resort in NC?

Have any of you?

Is it family friendly? Would a 11, 15, and 16 yr old have a good time there ?

Back in the 80's it was called Fairfield-Sapphire Valley and was a 3-slope ski resort. We used to go night skiing up there during the week. Not a very high mountain, but good for beginners.

Can't say what it looks like now, after 35 years.
