Contrary to what has generally been reported, Manziel's father does not own a car dealership, he's the General Mgr. In addition, that side of the family may not be awash in oil money. Moreover, it appears that most of his ancestors were con men and crooks.

I can look back on a few generations of my family and find polygamy, children out of wed lock, crooked politicians, illegal abortions, and other dirt. I am sure most people would find unsavory facts about their families as well.
