1 more year as a lame duck coach will set them back at least a couple more years. As long as we have Tanner making the decisions, we are in good shape!

Even if you let him go this year it's going to take at least 5 years to reestablish some semblance of the program that won the Conference Championship back in 1969.

Ok so they dont want to pay $19 million to buy out his contract. They should promote Muschump to AD and let him choose the next football coach. Then promote Tanner to President and problem solved. Promotions all around and everyone is happy. I know I would like to watch those fireworks.

think he can run an entire athletic dept? That's absurd. And we're not giving Tanner a pass because the BOT is apparently a collection of idiots. Tanner totally botched the coaching search that brought them Muschump in the first place. Then he got the guy a laughable buyout when NO ONE was trying to hire Muschump away from them.
Whomever posted that keeping him one more year would set them back 5 years is correct. Recruiting, financial support, and culture of the program will all suffer. Yeah, go ahead and make Muschump AD. That'll be like pouring muriatic acid on a 3rd degree burn.
