Dabo is National Coach of the Year, but the ACC gave its Coach of the Year award to someone else? hmmm.

If myself and hundreds of other people on here have said it once, we have said a hundred times. The "only thing" that Clemson and the people for Clemson mean to them egg sucking A$$ holes in Greensboro. Is the money we bring to the conference. We are going in the hole with us going to the highest paid bowl in the ACC at 17 mil. And the likes of Duke, Tar holes, and others will make money because of the big out Clemson will bring to this SH!T hole conference. If we had HANDS DOWN the best FB team in the country. We wouldn't get the chance to play for the NC. Because we are STUCK in the she she weak A$$ conference....

ACC COY & Bobby Dodd COY are based on different criteria.
Jan 1, 2012, 5:18 PM

ACC COY award goes to the HC that did the best job coaching. But Bobby Dodd COY award includes academics & community.
For example, Mike London (2011 ACCCOY) and Ralph Friedgen (2010 ACCCOY) did amazing jobs coaching their less-talented teams to outperform more-talented teams on the field. Dabo likely disqualified himself from the ACCCOY by losing to less-talented teams like GT & NCSU and struggling against less-talented teams, like UMD & Wake.

"I can't think of a better place for this to happen, than right here in Death Valley, Clemson, South Carolina, BABY"!!!!!!! Congrats coach! Stay real, just the way you are! We love you! What a refreshing change you are! I was so tired of a HFBC that drops his head and looks defeated at the first sign of trouble in a game. GO DABO!

Welcome Chad... glad you could keep Dabo out of the play calling. All the "haters" hated were the things he did that kept the kids from being successful. McClain and strength and conditioning are all that are left to hate. Congrats though Dabo on learning on the job. Even you knew you don't have it figured out, but kudos on being open minded to learn and change. Keep it going and get a few more coach of the years! Ignore the pumpers and be your biggest hater to continue to improve.

The Post and Courier, its very possible you'd have totally missed the announcement----the very significant announcement. Neither of the two biggest newspapers in the entire state seemed to think the award of much importance--the story was not featured prominently in either one.

What a difference 12 months make. Good luck tonight in the Orange Bowl. I hope Sammy and Nuke are able to play full speed.
