He pretty much can do it all and is fast as they get.The intensity is off the charts

But just think. If he had not have gotten hurt in the Bama

Double digit sacks, 11-13.

3 inches taller, 50lbs.heavier, longer arms, same motor as Vic Beasley. Good to hear him talkin about how 2014 set the standard for him. This is his year.

He's definitely has more prototypical size than Beasley, but Beasley beats him in speed off of the line. To me he's more of a Lawson/Dodd type player that isn't insanely fast off the line, but can still rush the passer and can also set the edge stop the run.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

I see your point. It seems at times to me he does seem like the Lawson or Dodd type. However, he has shown flashes of speed off the edge like I hadn't seen since Beasley.

Nfldraftscouts.com have him at a 40 time average of 4.78 and that's fast form a DE. This article has him ranked #2 out of 63 DE's. Not disagreeing with your point, I just think he might suprise and hope he shows more of the quickness I think he has.

Question to ponder. If both he and Bryant decide to stay another year, does Xavier Thomas takeover one of their spots or does he provide depth?

It's pretty rare for true freshman DEs to come in and

anchor a position. IIRC even Clowney split time his FR year and was mostly used in passing situations.

Thomas is ready!

Whether or not he will play wasn't the question. He's

obviously going to play - you don't RS the #3 overall recruit in the country.
