However, I just thought about this. We talk about this guy and that guy transferring, but I have not seen anyone suggest that KB may transfer... If he really wants to showcase his skills as a QB, does anyone think he may transfer if he believes that he may not be the starter all year?

I am not suggesting he should, I was just thinking about the possibility.

isn't the "starter". His running ability means, at minimum, we will have packages for him throughout the course of the game.

I agree. He’ll have some run/pass option plays just for him. It would be nice if we’d start lining him up under center & practice the QB sneak when we just need 1 foot to get a first down.

The problem with that is that everyone will be expecting a QB run. That only really works if they are expecting him to run but he passes.

I am pretty sure you know the answer to this question and you are only making a point; however, I will humor you. I believe the most casual observer would surmise that the starting QB spot for Clemson is uncertain for the opening game, and most definitely uncertain for the entire season.

I was very impressed with all the young qbs and I would not be upset if TL or HJ start or take over through the season. I still do not think they will tho.
