Do you have any idea how hard it is to have the best defense in history year after year when you are giving up a 40 points on avg to Clemson in championship games? It really skews the numbers badly.

That's exactly how I see it. As soon as Dabo realized Bama had quit he pulled off the dogs. Midway through the 3rd quarter it was evident to anyone not an Bama or SECheat fan that we were much better than they were. Bama had quit and Dabo decided to take it easy. The last drive was a thing of beauty. 94 yards all rushing in 10:02. Had Dabo not called off the dogs the game would have been the worse defeat in a post season game. It was already within a few points of the most lopsided game against a #1 team in college football history. Which I think is 34 points. Bama's lucky we didn't beat them by 42.
