If we are really going to complain about a lack of depth because a guy that was probably our 6th or 7th best linebacker right now is out for a few weeks, we've really run out of things to complain about.

If Boulware and Goodson both get hurt, we are in trouble. If one gets hurt, we can handle it. That said, on most teams, if you lose your two starting linebackers you're usually in trouble. Losing Rogers to not wanting to play and losing Register to the dinner table hurt, but them's the breaks. Next man up.

That's why losing Wiggins is actually not as big a deal as Joseph being out or losing Rogers. Both of those guys are/were #2 on the depth chart, and both are/were quality players.
I agree that we're fine with our starters, but our backups drop way off in terms of talent and/or experience.

He is going to be one of the best. He showed out at the spring game. I think he will come back strong we can handle lack of depth the first couple weeks anyways but KJ is darn good dont down play his contribution this year.

Why do you say that? By my estimation, Goodson is the only player we will lose to graduation. Barring something like expulsion/career-ending injury/the coming of Galactus we will be returning all but one starter next year. Add Tre Lamar and hopefully Rahshaun Smith to that fold, and we should be pretty good. My biggest concern this year is not talent or numbers, but inexperience. Lots of young players on that 2-deep.
