Crazy thought- Bring back Big Thursday?

What if we brought back Big Thursday for the SCar game.... 3rd Thursday in October. We could still alternate sites as normal. With the new BCS system, it would actually benefit both teams, win or lose. The rivalry isn't big enough to influence voters when you win, but a loss is almost a sure "out". A win in October looks just as good as it would in November (in most cases). BUT.. a loss in October could somewhat be reconciled by seasons end. Both coaches want national exposure to this rivalry and want to be relevant in the new BCS...

the Friday after Thanksgiving would be perfect.

Our game would be one of if not the best match up of the day, so great for exposure.

Personally, I'd like to be done with the family thing on Thursday, and know that Friday is for football, then still have a full weekend.

What would be the downside?
