That would have been the way to go instead of hiring Spurrier. SOS gave them a few really good years BUT now they are back to square one. Hiring Skip after Lou would have help build their program.

He doesn't know how to hire, but that is ok, let him continue that way. Will keep the dumpster fire burning for a long time.

after the shame Lou brought the program you think they would have considered hiring his son? The coots were fed up with Lou, 63-17 was the nail in the coffin.

Wasn't skip demoted from offensive coordinator before Lou was fired?

Skip got canned at USF, after 3 seasons. He had a good first season and it all went down hill after that.

There was a plan in place to hire Skip when Lou retired, a coach in waiting. I think they missed they boat.
