maybe play a year a Jax State, transfer to Ark after a year?? Would that be similar to what the Cheasy (Chad-Easy) did with Ol Miss?

He could run the Chadillac offense

That's the name Arkie fans have begun to use.

I think transferring down is a very smart move, he’ll be

A redshirt sophomore next season and if he excels he can then transfer up without sitting out and have two season left to play. Transferring down and not sitting out a year is the wise move.

its really not that tough. he is a RS FR now. that means he has 3 years left to play 3. if he transfers to another "power five school", he has to sit out and effectively loses a year. for example, if he transferred to Ark, he's sit out 2018, which would count as his RS soph year.. then he'd have 2 years of eligibility beginning in 2019. by transferring "down" he doesn't have to sit, can play immediately and has 3 to play 3 starting with the 2018 season.
and if he chose to play 1 year at Jax ST and then transfer "up", he would have to sit out a year with that transfer. under that case, he'd play at jax St in 2018 as a RS soph, sit out 2019 as a transfer (and losing that year, since his RS has been used)... then be eligible in 2020 as a RS senior.

now if he lights it up at JAX ST.. and grads by 2019, he could do the graduate transfer thing and be immediately eligible.

You have to sit out a year if you transfer up if you don’t graduate before
