Concerning Johnson, I know it's going to be stiff

competition but if he packs on some LBs and learns the offense a bit better, he has a legitimate shot at being a major player this season. He'd probably be a starter at virtually any other school...that's mind bottling!

And to think there is the possibility of him being 3rd on the depth chart? Man, what a good problem to have.

Where is said useless bored?

I'm not sure but if a useless post is on a useful board

Posted: Jan 22, 2018 5:12 PM

One can only assume a useful and useless board exist...

Discussions about Johnson, his growth, and longevity are totally useful and belong on the useful board.

I see what you did there.... stiff johnson huh??

2018 white level member

Not sure what you mean but Johnson will strap on

[1]
Posted: Jan 22, 2018 5:41 PM

his helmet and march out there and compete with the best of them. The competition will be nuts.

if you have a stiff Johnson available, you really don't need

Posted: Jan 23, 2018 10:51 AM

to strap on anything.

Just hope he’s

If he learns the K and Y plays and it all begins to jell, he may be able to work it in. My two cents

It boggles my mind also but if you can find a way to bottle stiff Johnson’s you will be well endowed!

I agree with you but I've also heard rumors that Brice has been killing it in practice. Technically anyone could be 1st or 4th come September.

If you were in charge of the lineup, where would you stick Johnson?***

I would stick Johnson under center. Keep in mind he's a dual threat!.

I agree, I agree! But we love some Shotgun

Johnson doesn't need that kinda friction though. I'd say plug him in anywhere he's most comfortable and give him plenty of reps. We're banking on him making our other guys better. Again, iron sharpens iron.

Johnson. Stiff. Packing some linebackers. Sounds ghey.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Go tigers

Wow...didn't really read it that way...

Guess I need to be a bit more tactful with my words.

Anyway, I'm sure you'd agree that I'm not trying to put Johnson out there like some odd ball. He's going to be a big part of this unit. Iron sharpens iron.

Is mind bottling similar to mind boggling, or....

3rd on the depth chart, says who...

[1]
Posted: Jan 22, 2018 6:18 PM

Speculation from some ppl has him coming out on top! (Johnson)

Listen, all this stuff is fun to talk about. But I will say this.
This spring (fall) might, might just be the deepest we've ever
been at QB in CLEMSON history.

Can't wait till the spring game!

Oh I agree, heck at worst he could be 4th!

Posted: Jan 22, 2018 6:21 PM

And that's no blow on Johnson...just goes to show how deep we are WITH Johnson.

After a few hours of rest, I'm seeing if this Johnson thread still has some energy***

So long as it isn't Paul, Walt's obsession, I'm good.

I recommend "good position to be in" instead of "good problem to have".

Who wouldn't enjoy seeing Johnson hit the tight end, or watching him roll out for the run up the backside?
