Clemson, S.C. -- The Clemson women's tennis team (6-7, 0-4 ACC) fell to No. 11. NC State (7-2, 2-1 ACC) on Saturday, 7-0. The Tigers dropped decisions on Court 1 and 3 in doubles. In singles, Jenna Thompson battled back from a 6-7 (3-7) first-set loss to No. 23 Alana Smith to take the second 6-2 before ultimately falling in a 10-point tie break 8-10.
