And for those that want to compare Clemson Men's Basketball to other programs, North Carolina Men's Basketball has less staff than Clemson (8)

Wondering where they spend 3x Clemson’s budget on basketball? Certainly not on academic support...

This is like comparing oranges to blueberries.
UNCheat doesn't have a Director of Recruiting. They don't need one.
Clemson does, and it certainly can't recruit the type of players UNC gets.
So what does that say about Clemson's staff?

Maybe we got too many. I don’t buy into any of the arguments that say it’s not supported. Recruiting, development, and then winning consistently. The more tournaments, the more exposure.

Dick bender just needs to change his name or pack it up. No mother is going to send their son to play for this man.

You should never chalk up to conspiracy what you can reliably attribute to stupidity. Because stupidity is a much more powerful force in the course of human events.

I kid you not, I met a Michael who works with a company I do business with. Last name is Hunt. I’ve heard that 1k times as a joke, but never would have thought someone would name their kid that. Oh, he does not go by Mike for short.

Steve Smith Assistant Coach - Didn't he play foot ball with the panthers? I has the confused
Dick Bender Assistant Coach - uh, er, no comment
Antonio Reynolds Dean Assistant Coach - Is he related to Dean Smith? If so, that's good.
Lucas McKay Director of Recruiting - sounds like a good basketball name.
Matt Bucklin Director of Operations - again, sounds like a good basketball name.
Marty Simmons Special Assistant to the Head Coach - Isn't he that ginger on ESPN?
Mike Bewley Strength & Conditioning Coach - doesn't sound like a good name for an S & C coach
Terrell McIntyre Director of Player Development - Finally, I've heard of the guy
Amit Tailor Video Coordinator -Don't even sound 'Merican
Brad Crowe Athletic Trainer - Was he playin' in a rock-n-roll band or just counting?
Mason Schoen Graduate Manager - Is he still in school?
Terrence Oglesby Graduate Manager - Heard of this guy!
Susan Ruark Administrative Assistant - A woman, really?

How much more support does basketball need?

Hopefully you get that my comments were in jest.

Seriously though, some of the blame is on the coaches but just as much or more is on the administration and fans.

I am not flaming you just want to understand about admin support. Do you mean we cannot get certain players in? Do we not do enough special events to get fans and families in for the early season games? Do we not give preference to rowdy students as to seating? Do we not stand up to the ACC powers that be regarding late night weekday starting times and no Saturday night games? And frontloading a horrible road schedule? I think they are guilty of some of all that. What else can they do?

Recruiting is the key I would have my best people person as the lead recruiter. I would recruit from here to everywhere. No reason we shouldn't have better shooters. No reason. The buck stops with the head coach. This tournament has helped realize Clemson can be good in basketball.

I have questioned continually about this. Absurd there are more "suits" (staff?) than players. Who's running this ship? - Season ticket holder
