Charlotte needs to give their bowl an identity in addition

to the corporate name that keeps changing. Something like Queen City or Charlotte Bowl. It could have been the Belk Charlotte Bowl or Belk Queen City Bowl. At least the identity stays the same even after different sponsors bow out and change over the years.

Queen City Bowl
Continental Tire Bowl - saw Larry Fitzgerald his last season at Pitt in this game.
Meineicke Care Care Bowl
Belk Bowl - 2011 - 1019

Wonder why they dropped the Queen City part? You have bowls like the R&L Carriers- New Orleans Bowl or Chick Fil A- Peach Bowl. Who knows it could become a payoff bowl if Charlotte ever gets a domed stadium and the playoff expands.
