Kicking is 90% mental. The other half is physical. Go Catman***

This reminds me of a quote dealing with golf (alot of similarities):"Golf is a game that is played on a five-inch course - the distance between your ears." ~Bobby Jones

Golf is a game where your most feared opponent is yourself.***

I'd just like to be assured that ...

all three kickers and a back-up long snapper will be ready to go if necessary.....and I don't want these preparations to be considered "cynical", just "prepared"

The only thing better than him being the starting kicker is

Posted: Nov 11, 2010 8:46 PM

him being the finishing kicker of the game as well!

I'd take cat-man any day over #### jackson

Either way, we will probably miss a kick or two against FSU.

sweet. 3 games left in the regular season and we're still trying to figure out who can make field goals. the freshman vs. the senior - that's what is especially sad. i'm no expert, but i'm sure this little "kick-off" only adds to the pressure already on these guys and negatively impacts their confidence.

as a guy who's kicked before at the collegiate level(small D2 school in SC), its all a mind thing. Im sure both their legs are about the same as Jackson holds the state record for FG distance. If he made that many in practice, he has to be feeling good and thinking that he can make any kick he tries. Its all about believing in yourself as a kicker...and dont get shook when its time to go

Honor With Dignity

And don´tmiss easy 35 yard FGs***

I'd say it's pretty good news to M Wade and the kickers.
