Per his Twitter account. Oh well. Guess he wanted to play WR.

You just can't help stupid. He will regret this decision But I ask, do we really want someone that is stupid enough to commit 2 times to a sinking ship of a program? I say.good riddance coot!

last time I checked you need to have aQB to get the ball to you if you're going to play WR! Good luck with that!

Yea play WR and win three games a year. But maybe he liked being home for the holidays. We'll see him coming from the other direction. But his choice. GO TIGERS!!!!

Wanted to play WR and not DB. Had to be a tough decision. We'll move on to the next prospect. We're not exactly dirt poor at either position.

Exactly...I'm not even sure we had room to take him had

he agreed to be a db. If you look at our roster next year, we don't have much in the way of space. Especially with Simpson, Overton, and Smith still in play.
He seems like a good kid and a good get for SCar. Best of luck to him except in the W-L column.

I hope this kid does not regret his decision. Sometimes these kids get caught up

in the smoke and mirrors. I am afraid Edwards was sold ice by a coach who bragged he could sale ice to an Eskimo. Hope he was not blinded by the snow and ice WM sold him to come to SC.

Not surprising. I'm from Conway and still live here, and Edward's girlfriend's dad is a huge coot fan and has been pretty much pushing this kid to Cootlumbia for a couple years. He's taken him to a bunch of games over the last few years.
Poor guy just about fell apart on the Book of Faces when Edwards decommitted. Was good for a laugh, anyway.
We're not hurt by him choosing Cootville. Let him sit home and watch Dec and Jan games on TV if he wants to.

If Clemson wanted him, Clemson could have easily gotten him

simply by offering him as a WR and any $CU fan who follows recruiting and has brain cell one in his or her head (albeit a very limited few) knows it.
Merry Christmas Gamecocks.

Re: Did you go to Aynor High School?

No, Conway High. Different Floyds in Aynor, maybe very distantly related (but then again, aren't we all? LOL). I actually live closer to Aynor, but my grandfather on dad's side was from Green Sea area, west of Loris.

Apparently.....

playing WR at a program that is spiraling downward like a weak flushing toilet is more important to him than playing DB for a winner.
Good luck with that.

PJ Blue committed to Louisville. I think Mullen is still possibly but I get the feeling he's going to be a Nole.
