Oct 7, 2017, 7:26 PM

That replay showed the Miami wr was down 8" short of the goal line.

No video or good angle to overturn the call on the field.

I don't agree. The replay was really hard to tell.

Oct 7, 2017, 7:28 PM

I think it was a scenario where whatever the call on the field was they had to go with.

I do agree that it would be hard to call it irrefutable, and thus you are correct, if the ref had called down it definitely would have been upheld IMO. But that one angle, at least to me showed his knee was down as it didn't move once it struck, and the ball was 6-8 inches from pylon. Besides, if it's close, who do you want that call going To? A 1-2 team or a 3-0 team that is ranked? Just my opinion.

I agree that it would have been upheld either way it was called. Just a bad tv angle to tell from. With as big as college football is I don't know why we don't have goal line camera angles for all games.

What? It was at an angle from the far corner of the end zone. No way you can overturn that from that angle. Especially with the ref right there with a perfect view of it. It would have been different if it was a shot right down the line.

He was in, there was no angle that refuted the call.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Nah, not enough to overturn the ruling on the field

Oct 7, 2017, 7:33 PM

they said the ruling on the field "stands" not confirmed, meaning not enough evidence to overturn the ruling. I would've lost my mind if they would've Taken that touchdown away

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Didn't see it, but FSU radio said it was close, but wouldn’t

Oct 7, 2017, 8:32 PM

be overturned.
