scholly in one sport is as good (all-inclusive)as a full scholly in another sport. we were talking about c.j. davidson, and he stated well he's only a walk-on,, and i brought up the fact that he had a track scholly, and he was trying to counter with "that's not as good as football scholly, he's only a walk-on,in football", (and then countered with baseball and their partial schollies), is my assumption.

Just claim you did it in Georgia. Corporal punishment laws are very lenient here. The laws are lenient and the case law gives even further added protection to the parent.

CJD was awarded a full ride and counts toward our 85 limit. Same as Boyd or Watkins.

really is no such thing as a "full ride" in baseball.
The only sports I know for sure that all schollys are full rides are football and the 2 basketballs.
Walkons are full but only year to year but can be made full perm,anent at hecoach;s discretion.

Track and Field Programs = Baseball Programs

Institutions can not field a complete track and field team (men's or women's) with the scholarship limit placed on them by the NCAA. They have to offer partial scholarships similar to baseball programs.
Once CJ Davidson decided to walk on the football team, he lost his track scholarship funding and had to pay for his Clemson tuition.

You can't play football and have a scholarship in anything but football (well, you can, but it counts against the football limit regardless). If not, every academic, music, and academic scholarship at the University if Alabama would all be filled with football players who "walk-on" to the football teams. In fact, having a scholarship in somethng other than football can be a hindrance to walking on since any kind of scholarship for anyone that participates with the football team counts as one of the 85 limit.
