For all those who want to KEEP Brad... Here are some things to ponder

The #1 rebuttal I hear is... Well who will we get.... And we have nothing to offer any coach. .... Here's your answer. DONT LET IT SLAP YOU TOO HARD. Did VTech have anything to offer a coach a year ago? Did Miami? Did Gtech? No they are football schools yet they are blistering us in basketball when we are suppose to have a veteran team. We have installed a $60 million gym and if we truly have the ADs support in bball then we need to move past Tommy Bowden. I mean Brad Brownell haha. I don't agree with his style of play and I leave this to ponder.... What is Brad's Bread and butter of this team? What will he be known for? Just food for thought.

Only thing I disagree with is the Brownell and

Tommy Bowden comparison. Brownell isn't anywhere near the basketball equivalent of Tommy Bowden. Brownell has done nothing, recruited nobody and you nailed it regarding style of play.

Don't get me wrong I'm seriously Brad's biggest supporter. I've backed him for years but eventually you have to look at his lack of recruiting at the PF and Center positions. It's showing up this year . We have no depth and the fact Sitti is starting says everything. THOMAS IS A BEAST! But when he gets fouls who's coming in for him ya know. I just want to see basketball succeed.

What does that have to do with it? Look at Duke this year, extremely talented big men but no guard play.
It's all about the back court now not the big men. That's what led UConn to multiple titles, why Louisville is great, etc.

I am for firing him IF we know we can get a top coach. I am not for firing him and replacing him with someone who is no better or worse.

BLISTERED by those teams? Really? define BLISTERED.

Maybe Brownell will be defined by his success next season. Maybe Brownell will be defined by being able to recruit Zion Williamson.
I'd take Brownell as my coach over Frank Martin regardless of their win-loss record.

The "who will we get" excuse is the worst one of all. Heck UVA football got bronco Mendenhall. Virginia Tech got Buzz Williams. We can hire a good coach, I just feel the administration needs to make and show a commitment to the sport. Tolerating year after year Of NIT appearances and worse is not a commitment

You are spot on Cdixon. It would be great to get Zion but good teams arnt build around one player. They have many. They have deep benches. Even dabo can attest to that in football. It starts with recruiting. Maybe getting Zion starts something idk. I hope

All of those schools have a much more fertile recruiting ground around them.

Is definitely going to be given another year to recruit with the new Littlejohn as a selling point so accept this and get behind the team for another season. Sixty million wasn't spent on LJ to turn it over to someone else. This is a fact. Live with it! If he isn't successful next year, he is gone. He knows this already. The

Man it's great to be near those cities just like the blue bloods of the sport. Smfh man. When we have great in state talent they go out of state. No matter the recruiter you are you can't help that.

It's the 3-4 star guys in those cities, and yes, in state, that are choosing other teams not much different than us. And yes, the recruiter matters. VT plays in a barn but their coach has recruited from day one

No debate here-start getting your coach now before NC State. This will be a very easy decision

I'm all for cleaning house. We have $ to pay, the backing of the Athletic Dept, a $60 amazing gym . I didn't agree with the hire of Brad in the first place. We need a coach that can simply recruit. Either that or Brad needs to go get one and stop hiring Georgia southern and Newberry college assistants
