Is there anyone you know of that does stress relief on large weldments. We had a place in NC, but that's not working out. They are few and far between it seems.

Did you check with Superior, 3-D and Pierce?

Those are far and away the biggest and best shops in your area.

Superior wanted 3X what we've been paying for the same work. Can't remember about the other 2. I'll re-check those.

If you want cheap, but with questionable quality...

Modern Maintenance in Darlington

Southeastern Industrial in Rock Hill


Before I would use either one of those, I would call PIC (Palmetto Industrial Construction) in Gaston, SC. They're cheap and do work that is usually accurate, but maybe a step below Superior and 3-D.
