...to a Clemson scrimmage would really mess up his brain.
He'd be calling holding and roughing the passer penalties on every other play.
He'd have we his pants with excitement three minutes into the scrimmage.

The best part about this story....

is this HANDS DOWN. With our team obviously going to rely heavily on the running game until we have some WR's step up consistently, this is what I want to hear (and hopefully we I formation and HB Power the H-E-L-L out of teams and keep doing it this season when it works) and with Diehl being BIGGER and LEANER, that is a SCARY combination (we need to come up with a nickname for him because he is a beast)
"*Fullback Chad Diehl makes his presence known all over the field. Diehl is 265 pounds, heavier than last season, but was a beast blocking. He has almost no fat as he added muscle in the off-season, and with the offense running a lot of short passes and power plays, was in on the action a good bit. He caught one pass and lowered his pads under linebacker Spencer Shuey, and it appeared to knock the breath from Shuey, who is no lightweight in his own right. "

yeah, I am pretty excited about our running game, definitely going to be a strength for us. I also like hearing that Parker has put more touch on his short throws, last year he sort of just winged them out there. I always felt like our younger receivers had bad chemistry with him because ford and Plamer where the only ones to come down with his lasers. I think the lack of production from some of the other receivers had more to do with spiller getting half the touches, and Parker only having confidence in a couple of guys.
Hopefully we can get more guys involved in our passing game, and I like that Boyd is finding other receivers. Part of winning the job is gaining the trust of your team mates, and it seems Boyd is giving us that element. Parker is a stud, but I think a little ompetition this spring will enhance his game.

and when we used him, he was effective. The problem is we didn't use him enough.

watch the offensive series in the middle of the second quarter where we run the "I" exclusively with Chad Deihl leading Jamie Harper down the field for a TD like one of Patton's armored divisions.
That is going to be the future for Clemson football in the "Post-CJ Era".
