Spurrier outwitted Venables?
Dec 1, 2014, 9:26 AM

According to Sapakoff: "Venables, even with the nation's No. 1-rated defense, struggled to match wits with Spurrier on Saturday." Struggled? Did he even watch the game Saturday? One delusional dude.

This Spakoff sounds like he is a paid coot apologist! I haven't read the P&C in years. Yes, I love Charleston in every single way possible, it's home but I just don't see how anyone can write the things he has written and expect to retain any credibility with the public. Just unbelievable!

Lol, that's funny considering this is the first game in which I've seen Spurrier completely give up in a long time.

Yeah, he wasn't always this bad. I remember reading him a lot when first moving to Charleston and never remember it being this dumb.

Well, what did Spurrier have to say about that . . .

I guess Sapakoff didn't believe Spurrier. Here are some quotes from the Steve Spurrier show: "they were better than we were, they played better and they coached better,"when it's a mismatch at the line of scrimmage like it was today, you usually lose and we got beat," "they thoroughly beat us, we got stymied." Also, "they got the #1 defense in the nation, you know how good the #1 defense is? We got 65 yards on 30 something carries." Straight from the Ol' Ball Coach's mouth.
