morris is a great OC..but this constant gadget plays when our offense is clicking annoys me

pass on 3rd and 2 against FSU last week I think late in the 2nd quarter. We were running the ball well at the time and pulled that play, which fell incomplete. I don't understand the timing sometimes of our trick plays.

Well you dont need to pull that kind of junk to kick their heads off.
It is more impressive if you line up and run it down their throats and demoralize them. Now that would kick their heads off, their rears off and everything else.

Thank you for that. Everyone else is getting their panties in a wad.
We're 20 times better than this team and Morris is just trying out some new stuff in a game environment (instead of practice). I don't mind it. That was on Boyd, not Morris. We will be fine.

road and have the ball at midfield, my common sense say you don't call that play on 1st down. It completely changed the momentum of the game.

I didn't call Morris a genius when he pulled it off on one play against FSU. But I understand what you are saying. Kinda angered me actually that we couldn't man up and impose our will on them and had to resort to tricks to move the ball when we were doing just fine running Ellington, etc.
We dont need these type of plays. Just keep doing what we do without the gimmicks.

It's never going to please everyone...
Somebody will always complain. Why did he score
that touchdown that way? He should have run it
instead of passing. He should have run an option.

I like Chad.
But I was fussing about these gimmick razzle plays even when we scored against FSU.
Why not just run over people. We score one more time and the game is over against BC.
No need for these types of tricks.
Whats wrong with a power running game a little play action and a great D.

Tajh should know not to throw it if it isn't there. He forced the ball out there and got picked. That would have obviously been a huge play if it had worked, but the turnover is on Tajh.

Agree it was a dumb call, but even worse Boyd should not have thrown short into double coverage. The interception gave BC a lot of momentum. Fortunately, the players were able to recover.

cant trust tajh or any college kid in that situation... we run some clock, tire out the D with AE, rip their hearts out. we aren't goin to end the game in the middle of the 1st half with a random long bomb.

Ellington in the wildcat. (Not really a fan of it, but...)
Would have been fine I guess on a normal touchback kickoff.... But Ellington just had a 45-50 yard run back and actually looked a little winded...
How about a play action, soften up the db's , give him a play to catch his breath , then go to it - if they wanted to run it so badly.
Situational play calling is the deal.

We ran 80 something plays and y'all b1tch about one play? You act like it cost us the game. BC got the ball on the freakin 8 yd line. If the freakin D could stop me we should have got the ball back in great shape.
