tickets and nowhere to stay...

Posted: Sep 29, 2016 8:43 AM

Currently have tickets and sleeping arrangements in GV fell through. Trying to explore other options now that most hotels are either booked, or $500. May even sleep in my truck in 3A at this point... Any ideas?

"There's something in these hills and I suspect that's what it is - the ability of an institution through the unending dedication and greatness of its people - its administration, its faculty, its staff, its students and alumni - to impart to all it touches a respect, an admiration, an affection that stands firm in disquieting times when things around it give impressions of coming unglued." - Joe Sherman '34

Try past Clemson in Lavonia. I just saw a Hampton Inn in Lavonia for $175.

Clinton Hampton Inn about an hour or so away on I-26

Friday night or Saturday night?

If Saturday night, I still see some for under $100 near Greenville. But keep in mind you probably reach there not sooner than 2am.

Are you drinking? If so, fork over the 500 bucks. Cheaper than a DUI...or worse. Plus, it'll be worth it!

try AIRBNB

You'll get three hots and a cot, no charge. Well, there will be a charge, but not in the sense that you mean.
