What will kill our chances are the conference tournaments where teams win the tournament who weren't going to get in. There are always 4-5 of those, which means instead of 4 spots out right now, we're probably 8-10 spots out.

Beating Usuck on the road is considered a great win. Besides that you are correct though. We need to beat FSU and beating VT and Miami on the road would be very good Ws.

look at that fact or simply the win? It seems like they haven't been overly impressed with our ACC record the last few years, so perhaps they do lift up the hood for a closer look.

Yes they do. I remember them doing that last year. Not for us but I remember them talking about other teams where they took that into consideration. That would hurt us and consequently help them.
IMO - we have to win 4 out of our last 5. Only loss to Fla St. Too many teams in front of us.
