serious ? for believers

recently a few "articles" have popped up on my comp, and I have heard for years that many religious folks believe THAT Dinosaurs and man walked the earth at the same time. Some say that JC had a pet Trex, and the disciples rode around on the back of Pterodactyls and such. I know lots of religious folks of all stripes, still I have yet to meet a single religious person that believes this (or willing to say it aloud), but I hear tell some do
Just curious what says you?

There's more legitimately crazy people than one might think that believe the Earth is 8000 years old, and any easily verifiable scientific fact that proves it isn't...is because God made it that way.

well let’s see.
I asked if anyone believes Dino and men walked the earth at the same time. Your answer was that, cavemen/ cavewomen did indeed. Therefore if Jesus and all the other Iron Age people.... not to mention the ones before them must be cavemen... da Dahh get where’re I got it now

It's not natural. Dating should be between one man and one woman. No carbon dating allowed.

I remember it like it was yesterday, I was throwing those questions at one of the leaders in the church and I said
"So you're saying carbon dating is wrong?"
"Yes it is"
"How is it wrong"
"Because the Bible says the earth isn't millions of years old"
They wouldn't answer any questions after that.

Who believed it. I cracked a joke about it and they responded that they believed in it. I was shocked, and also learned that I guess we can't joke about that belief in a workplace.
One guy tried to argue that carbon dating can prove it, but then when I cited other examples of carbon dating proving the actual age of the Earth, he said carbon dating couldn't be fully trusted.
So there's that.
