The season...what will it look like? When will it start?

I spoke to someone at the school yesterday about this, wondering if we had any kind of news, and the response was.....Think about where we were three months ago and where we are now. So much has changed, and with the season still three months away, so much more can change so there is no rush to make any kind of a decision. As of now, the season is on, the schedule is set to be played, etc. As for fans, again too early to tell.

Until the last few days I thought that things would be settled enough to start the season on time. SC has set records each of the last 3 days for number of cases, things are worse than they were a month ago. This thing is a monster and I hope that we get a handle on it in the next few weeks or we may miss at least part of this season. I hope that I'm wrong and this thing dies out really soon.

The season may start, but if there are fans there will be season tickets for sale. 80,000 screaming people crammed into the too tight rows and add in thousands of drunk people is just a recipe for the virus. Count us out after 46 years of season tickets.

that by the time football season starts, there will at least be experimental vaccines for Covid-19 out there. This is based on nothing more than a hunch, and the known tendency of the Trump to try and fast track anything that MIGHT work.
