prayer request & update

Please keep the prayers coming for mom. She is such a fighter and continues to keep her positive attitude. Her arm is healing quite well from the recent fall and we have another follow up with the Ortho doc in a couple of weeks.
She's decided that she is ready to come to Clemson for a game! The earlier ones this year did not work out for us, but she wants to try to come next week. It will certainly be a lot of work for me, maneuvering her around the crowds and helping her with everything, but I can't wait to see her in Death Valley again!
She calls me Suzanne all the time, which is never what she called me all my life! She left me a voicemail a little while ago and started out saying "Ree Ree!" (my nickname) That's the first time she has said my nickname since her stroke!! And, that's the way she used to start every voice mail. It was so nice to hear  Her brain is definitely starting to make all those connections again, and I can't wait until she gets her speech back. Every day when we hear a new word, or she says something like this that she used to say, it is just so wonderful!! God is good!
Please pray for good weather next Saturday (the threat of rain cancelled our plans once this season!), for her to continue to feel well, and of course continued recovery!! We are almost 10 months out from her stroke and she continues to impress me every day with her strength and her outlook.
