Just now on CNN @markgeragos predicted Kaepernick would play in NFL again. One team he mentioned was Carolina.

That's been a rumor for about a week now

If he did come back to the league, Kaepernick would be a decent fit in Carolina as a backup to Newton and maybe the starter if Newton's shoulder continues to have issues. With Eric Reid signing an extension, maybe the Panthers are looking for that kind of media attention as well.

31 year old QB, whose last live football action was over 2 years ago.

I just don’t see it happening. The NFL already paid out what they had to and now they are done and moved on.

Now, I wouldn’t have put it past Carolina (if the new owner had been in place) to offer Kaepernick when all of this started if they hadn’t already had their healthy starter and a serviceable backup. But at that time they had no need.

Panthers like 70% lost me with Newton. If they sign Kap, I wouldnt ever even consider being a fan again.

Please forgive me, @IneligibleUser

Panthers started losing me with how they did Steve Smith

Definitely not a Cam fan, either. He should have been cut before Thomas Davis.

I'm at the point of zero cares about the NFL in general.

It's become the most soulless and sterile corporate game on the planet. That said, I'm more interested in watching the Texans now than I am the Panties.
