I have a soft spot for Wake ever since they supported us when the ACC awarded us an extra year of probation in the early 80's.

The HUGE difference is all the coots have is conference pride and being Bama fans.

No Clemson fan feels this way because our team, history, tradition and championships are what is important.

Ain’t nothing wrong pulling for Wake Forest in this context. See the difference?

Correct. I cheer for my conference to win bowl season and matchups vs other conferences.

The difference is I don’t rub my rivals face in the success of another conference team beating my team. That’s the difference. Really not that hard to comprehend.

So I will be cheering for the ACC. No harm in that and no I am not a coot. ACC has 11 teams in the bowl games along with the SEC so I hope the ACC does well and take the bragging rights.
