game, & broken tradition? Or because it was considered a conference game, is that not "post season." We have won ACC championships before in conference away games and bowl games against big time schools before. Should we add more?
Not saying it isn't important, because all of them were.
I'm just one about not breaking tradition, or having things "consistent."

Does it appease the spirits?

I can't find it now, but someone asked Tim Bourret about this and he said something to the effect of:

'Yes it's typically for a regular season road game, but after we beat #6 TN in the Peach Bowl on a neutral site, we decided, that was a pretty good win...'

I approve of this reasoning...
