the first trickeration that led to the interception - I interpreted as a sign of weakness. Instead of finishiing off an opening drive in fundamental fashion, resorting to cuteness, which backfired. This showed we were tight and looking for alternatives. Desperate to change things, it all stayed the same from this point.

I didn't mind the play call but when Sammy threw the ball he threw it to the inside of Adam and that was the stupid part of the play. You have to assume the safety didn't bit and is sitting back there so in that case Sammy has to throw it to the outside. Then again if he would have just put a lil heat on it the safety would have never had time to make to Adam.

...by players and coaches this game. How about right before the half where we drove all the way down the field only to call a timeout ( for whatever reason ) in the redzone and proceed to implode ourselves almost out of field goal position.

There was no reason to run a trick play when you are moving the ball.
