In my earlier post I proposed a stratagem that after research, I discovered has already been invented ! Villanova runs it and they are known to have a pretty good basketball team ...

Now, IF we play UVa again, say in the ACCT or somewhere in the NCAA tourney, I think this strategery would work against them.

Basically, you have Thomas play "man" on that big New Zealand lad, "Salt". Salt can't shoot, so basically you neutralize him.

Now, our four guards do their thing ... here is a link for the Villanova inspired "Four Guard Offense".

My high school had to play 4 guard offense in the late 70's when our center kept getting in various kinds of trouble - foul, scholastic, juvenile, you name it! Our coach was a genius and it worked very well for us.
