You know durn skippy w/ Anthony & Beasley returning they have no chance of scoring more than the Clemson football team. We are on the verge of another defensive dynasty; my prediction is that Spurrier goes into the Clemson game @ 9-2 then retires after a 40-20 drubbing.

Kind of hard to win the SEC. The National Champion a few years ago couldn't even win their division.

Have you noticed that since South Carolina has been "successful," the usual SEC leaders Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee have sucked out Lou's in and out of conference. I'm sure its gratifying to take fifth place rings by proxy.

Go to that web site that has all the past college football scores and check out the records of the teams in the ACC when sc won their only conference title. The ACC was pretty miserable that year.

Not excuses. I would rather be #4 in the country and miss out on the SEC title to the #2 team than have your 2011 resume and when you won the ACC (woo hoo) barely finished in the top 25, and were ranked behind the team you beat for the ACC title. I am also glad I don't have to try to make myself feel better about winning a BCS bowl but knowing my rival kicked my butt (again) and finished ahead of me in the final poll. Oh well, at least it is basketball season. May the force be with you on the 26th, because the refs sure won't be.
