Yea....he's pretty good. Must be one of those kids that plays better than they practices. After seeing him in on a ton of plays today, that's the only reason I can see of why he hasn't played a lot more in his time here.

I think he had trouble learning the mental side of the LB postion as he came from a simple high school system. This is not a knock on him by any means as the position is very mental intensive in BV system. No amount of talent will override that part of the game for BV as he will play a less talented kid that doesn’t miss assignments.

You could see this today as he made some incredible plays but also got caught up in wrong positions a few times which gave up decent sized runs.

It’s starting to come all together, and watch out!! I’m a big fan of SS and love his attitude. He’s a mainstay in the Clemson vlogs btw.

He was only at IMG for a year and played like 7-8 games. He was in a school Baltimore before that. From what I have heard it was a see ball get ball type of system he was used to.

No doubt! Super excited about both of them, really the whole LB crew. Shaq isn’t even close to his ceiling which is scary for opposing offenses.

big Splash plays does not mean great LB play.

I am glad to see him progress and make the splash plays, but him being part of a well oiled unit, is more important.
Talent and “getting it” would be awesome.
