Someone versed in the X's and O's answer this for me...

I know it's looking ahead, but how do we matchup against the Coots?
I think we are better at every position and deeper at every position.
The only thing we don't have over them this year is home field advantage.
How do you think the game plays out?
I personally think we win by 20 points just on talent and depth alone.

A few things
Nov 12, 2015, 5:45 PM
|
|
1) Their brand of ice in Willi B isn't as good as the Valley's 2) They have hot girls there. They will be annoying and in need of a ball gag 3) The rooster crow will not bother any of our players 4) The beats per minute at Willie B is 2nd to none. When Sandstorm plays, watch the #### out! 5) 20,000 fans will bring in "no pizza party this year" signs and will never use them.
We are better in every position and deeper as well. Just go ask their mom's.

We will have

A small advantage because the worlds greatest coach QUIT at mid season. However we will be on upset alert because theTigers never play well in a half empty stadium. I suspect a final score of 99 to 0 will be close unless our fifth team qb can't get the job done
I like Cooper

Does their scoreboard have three digits? If not, I predict something in the range of a 00-0 or 05-0 affair when we meet our poultry brethren.

And the coots act like its the other way around. Delusional. As much as I disliked him, spurrier was a good coach and found ways to beat us.
We put Mac on Cooper and they really have no other good receivers. There defense won't be able to contain us, and their offense won't score more than 21. We win easy.
45-17

Don't believe that 7 eligible receivers can exist but for that play I'll allow it

Don't know about the 20 pts. This game is a rivalry and anything can happen. I fully expect a victory though. I think we will run it and throw it. Their defense is not good but they'r playing with a reknewed sense of enthusiasm under Elliott. I would bring pressure the new qb and man up on their receivers.

All that said....their offense is "evolving" thru Wilds & Adams being used more. Adams will be a nightmare matchup for anybody we try to cover him with. We typically use linebackers to stuff the run which will possibly leave the middle open on some shallow routes with him, plus he's tough to get down after the catch. The passing concepts they're using now are more shallow and quick now and lead to more plays in space & also it'll be tough to get to Orth because of that. Then there's Brandon Wilds. He's a solid 3-5 yd/ carry RB that can also catch out of the backfield. They're also opening some called QB runs with Orth. And of course you are aware of P Cooper. They won't be a breeze to just hold down on offense and our defense will have to be very disciplined in the up field rush. The chicken D is ramping up pressure now too, & that's shown some results. Just look at how they contained UT's running game from the second qtr on. I'm not saying they'll beat us or even come close, but you asked for x's & o's so there you go bud
