hdmi out of your computer for now...

BUT... Apple and ESPN are in talks to get ESPN3 on AppleTV. When that happens, that will be the best route to go. I recommend getting an AppleTV anyways. :)

agreed on both counts. HDMI for now, but if you were able to get ESPN sent via wifi through netflix or apple tv i think many people would drop cable. i don't know if it is the same in all areas but i have Time Warner in my hometown and their service is next to pitiful.

BluRay player is HD quality - better picture and delivery than RayCom broadcasts on the affiliate channels by far.

One of the good things about the new ESPN media deal with the ACC is the national availability of every football and basketball game, plus expanded coverage of the Olympic sports via internet. Raycom can air certain games on local affiliate TV, but outside of this area they'll all be covered by ESPN3 at the very least, meaning no matter where a fan lives they'll have access to every football and basketball game. It's the most fan friendly coverage of any league, though the trade-off is less revenue for the schools than other deals.

A gaming console and HDMI cable work well. An Xbox360 with xbox live gold membership ($60/year) gives you access to ESPN3 if your ISP already provides ESPN3.
