Direct TV Saga Part 2

So, after exhausting almost all options I was referred to a local installer to talk to instead of trying to deal with the 1-800 number morons...Well, long story short, Direct TV does have everything I want for cheaper blah blah blah, I decide to give them another shot. Everything's good this morning, until the call I just got. Apparently, because my dad used to have a Direct TV account means that I cannot be considered a new customer, despite the fact that I've never had an account. I can send in utility statements to prove that I don't live at the same address, but ###? Whose got time for that nonsense? I'm trying to get TV hooked up, now buy another house. They already ran a ####### credit check on me, asked me a million questions and now this? Seriously #### Direct TV.
