Putin is crying about the sanctions.

Aug 11, 2018, 7:54 PM

He's saying they will be equal to declaring 'economic war.' It makes me wonder whether or not Putin has dirt on Trump, whether or not he has Trump in his pocket and who is really holding the puppet strings in their relationship.

This really makes the media and democrats look foolish.

You're right, if Putin had anything on Trump then Trump would publicly defend Putin and call the whole Russia investigation a hoax.

Instead, Putin is complaining publicly about sanctions that Congress put on him, despite Trump's objections.

Wait...both are true.

Dang it.

and the left accuses the right of conspiracy.

Dood, I know you pay little attention to the investigation into collusion but the source of the FISA warrant was tainted. There is much more evidence to support that it is a contrived story than to support that Trump actually colluded with Russia to fix the election.

You side is accusing Trump Jr of paying foreign agents for dirt on Hillary and that is likely true. We know that the DNC hired a lawyer who hired GPS Fusion who hired Steele who collected chit from agents of a foreign government to gather dirt on Trump.

The worst case Jr gets slapped in the face with a perjury charge but those FISA judges might not be happy about their reputations being tarnished over them being naive enough to by into a trumped up collusion collusion by the DNC, Hillary and the Obama justice department. Judges don't like being manipulated by false testimony and having someone thereby usurp their power and abuse it to go after a political foe. This chit is going to blow up in their faces...

Let's be clear here.

Significant portions of the FISA application were redacted. Neither you nor I know enough about it to draw any conclusions about it. That is indisputable fact.

You have no idea where Steele got his information. You can guess, you can speculate, but you do not know. You continue to insist that he got it from "Russian agents". That is a false assertion, you cannot possibly know that.

I agree that a lot of the 'collusion' argument from the left is also overblown, because the can't factually know what Mueller knows.

But you must also accept that the right's defense of Trump is also overblown and in some cases specious because the don't have the facts either.

The only trial happening involving Trump is happening...

Aug 13, 2018, 9:26 AM

in public opinion right now. If Mueller had the goods on Trump for aiding an enemy in attacking 'our democracy,' he's agree to Trump's limited questions list. It's clear that Mueller wants a perjury charge on Trump or he wouldn't want the interview.

Most lawyers tell their clients to say nothing. Most prosecutors try to interview the accused but accept that they won't be able to talk to them. This is being tried in the court of public opinion. Both parties want that. Two pigs in a mud hole, comes to mind.

Mueller is desperately trying to get Manifort to roll over and give him something. Whether true or false Mueller will consider it testimony under oath. That's what any prosecutor would do. The information will leak, the people will believe what they want to believe.

Congress will impeach if only if dems take the house. Trump will continue as POTUS and will continue to tweet and do other things which draw ire. In the mean while our people will work and care for their families.

As far as Steele's contact information...Steele was working to get a visa for a Russian named Deripaska,' who had been expelled. He discussed this in what is believed to be more than 60 emails and skype communications during the time of Steele's dossier research.

Since the dossier was about Trump and Russia and Steele was talking or the Orrs about working something out...Pop the corn and I'll bring a six or so and we'll enjoy the sequel titled 'Who is on the suck end of a witch hunt.'

You can't get a perjury charge on someone who tells the truth.

Lame as #####. Mueller's intent is to word the same question over and over in different ways hoping Trump gives a different answer once so Mueller can then go aha, I got you. Every Prosecutor in the world knows it as a perjury trap. Got anything else?

Re: and the left accuses the right of conspiracy.

Aug 13, 2018, 12:45 PM [ in reply to Re: and the left accuses the right of conspiracy. ]

That's s bunch of mumbo jumbo. When word of the Steele fabrication first got out, the cry was "Trump is susceptible to blackmail and could be controlled by Putin."

Then after Wiki Leaks published the DNC emails which showed Hillary and the DNC rigged the Democratic nomination against Bernie Sanders it morphed into "Trump and Putin jointly strategized to hack the DNC emails."

Then after Trump fired Comey the cries of Obstruction of Justice became the new catchphrase. Trump had multiple reasons to fire Comey. Number one is that Comey should've kept his mouth shut over whether or not HRC should've been indicted. Second, Comey was lying in wait for Trump to do or say something that could allow Comey to aid in an indictment against Trump and Trump knew it. This was exposed when Comey illegally leaked information on conversations Comey and Trump had to Comey's Professor friend. Comey's own words stated he intended for Trump to be investigated by a Special Prosector. Why would Trump allow a subordinate to remain in his employer when he knew the guy was biding his time from day one to hang him? This is why Trump kept asking if he was under investigation. If Comey says yes, Trump's hands are tied because it then does look as if Trump is getting rid of Comey for the express reason of shutting down an investigation into himself. since Comey lied, Trump was free to fire him without the possibility of appearing to obstruct. Btw, the President is in charge of the DOJ and can direct any investigation as he sees fit. Therefore a President cannot obstruct justice by shutting g an investigation down.

Trump knew Comey was a liar and a snake. I would fire a person like that too and so would anybody else if they feared the lying snake would turn and bite them. That's what snakes do.

Another note concerning Steele's fabrication: It was first said Steele had contacts in Russia. He did try to recruit one in Russia but the guy turned him down saying your making stuff up (collusion). The other one turned out to he one living in the US, hardly anyone who would be connected enough to be in the know even if their was actually plotting between Trump and Putin.

Yes, these are the same sanctions that passed the congress overwhelmly -- a year ago -- and TheRump refused to implement the sanctions. (The sanctions were passed in the Senate at 98-1.)

The real question for TheRump is "Why N!?"

I think the Mueller investigation is starting to fry the brain of TheRump family. Or, TheRump is trying to create a distraction.
