IF HE GETS THE JOB, does he coach in the bowl?
Dec 10, 2012, 3:06 PM
|
|
...i think Dabo would like for him to, but Chad may want to move on to get started w/ TT in a bowl. also, he may not want the LSU game on his resume.

I do not know. If he takes the job, will he coach at Clemson next year too? Wow, my 9 year old just answered that question that you could not answer for yourself. Why don't we wait and see if he gets the job before we start wondering about what-ifs.

Agreed. This site is really starting to become unbearable. Between the ######## tweet updates beng reported as "news" and the lounge crew, gamecock fans, and lsu folks spam-trolling the board...

Check TCI. I have been spending a lot of time over there. They take the trash out before the board gets infested. It is quite nice not having to deal with trolls.

If he really wants a HC job
Dec 10, 2012, 3:49 PM
|
|
now is not the right time for him to be putting Clemson second, I will say it again Dabo & AD should take his keys and give him all the time he needs to look for a new job, I will be the 1st one there to help him pack Either he is All In or should be All Gone. If he really wants to leave there is time to look after the season is over. No way can he keeps the respect of players There is a time for everything and this is just not the best time for Clemson and that's all I care about

we don't want any coaches who would interview anywhere else, or any players who aren't basically Clemson fans. Idiotic.

"Hey Texas Tech AD, this is Chad. I hear you're interested in talking with me, and I likewise. But can you wait for another two weeks or so while I coach the Tigers in Atlanta. Surely, the remaining staff is keeping recruits informed and in the fold, so another two weeks wouldn't be that bad. Thanks, that would be great!"

Many on here don't understand the transient nature of college football and basketball coaches. Next to none of them are in love with the school where they are currently employed. They are looking for the next best opportunity. It's the same at Clemson as everywhere else. Get over it.

It is a compliment to a program to have assistant coaches considered for head coaching jobs. I think he is a professional and will not let the interviews become a distraction. Everybody beyond a certain level multi-tasks everyday. All will be fine.

I hope he ends up staying, but if he gets the offer for 2 mil plus, he can't refuse. move back to your home state (though for you South Carolinians moving to Columbia would hardly count) and take over a program that would be happy with 9 wins and a high-flin' offense. He'd make more than Dabo. It would really set us back.
Discussed much at the blog below. Please look and comment.
